Being a Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. In this role, you will repair the Army National Guard aircraft's electrical, avionics, propulsion and fuel systems, and oversee maintenance of equipment wiring harnesses, electrical components, and radio frequency paths.
