Being a Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Position Summary:
The Instrument Coordinator is responsible for the efficient flow of instruments and equipment between multiple surgical sites inside and outside MultiCare Health System, and Central Service Department and for operating and maintaining the Steris sterilization system, endoscopic video equipment, and providing direct technical support to the surgical team for endoscopic, vascular, general, orthopedic and neuro specialties as needed and the review/reconciliation of operating room charges as they pertain to implants and supplies.
Minimum Requirements:
Four years experience in a surgical environment with emphasis on orthopedic and neuro surgical cases.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology. Certification preferred.
Compensation Range:
AM - Min: $18.12-Max: $78.64
