Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners repairs percussion instruments, such as drums, cymbals, and xylophones. Removes drum tension rod screws and rods by hand or using drum key. Being a Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are a family owned hearing healthcare practice with over 40 years of experience. Currently seeking a full or part time Hearing Instrument Specialist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear again. In this role you will assess hearing instrument efficacy as well as perform hearing screening procedures, modify ear molds, provide follow up hearing aid adjustments and care for new and existing patients. You will also be assisting walk in patients that present with hearing aid concerns.
Schedule is flexible with work hours ranging between 9am and 4pm Monday - Friday and you can make your own schedule.
