Ensures the fitness program meets the needs of the client and may include elements such as physical fitness, nutrition, cardiovascular training, and weight training. Being a Personal Trainer offers guidance and support to clients in order to achieve their goals. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Personal Trainer may require a Personal Trainer certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Personal Trainer works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
