Completes routine data entry, report generation, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems. Being an Personnel Records Clerk assists with delivering core HR processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, and program implementations, including benefits, compensation, and performance management. May administer other HR systems used for timekeeping, performance, and training management processes. Additionally, Personnel Records Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Personnel Records Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Records Clerk. As a Records Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing records in both physical and digital formats. This is an important role that ensures accurate and efficient record-keeping within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- File and organize records in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and security of records
- Retrieve and distribute records as requested by authorized personnel
- Scan and digitize paper documents for electronic storage
- Ensure proper indexing and labeling of records for easy retrieval
- Assist with data entry tasks as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience working in a law firm or professional services is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary: $40,000-$55,000. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
