GENERAL INFORMATION:

Reports to: Clark Nakamura, Executive Vice President of WholesaleFLSA Status: Non-Exempt
FLSA Status: FT Exempt
Salary Range: $125k – $150k annually DOE

SUMMARY:

Our growing company is seeking to hire a sales manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our unbranded sales team. You will oversee managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your unbranded sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of your team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals.
• Set unbranded sales goals and key performance indicators by salesperson.
• Meet with salespeople and provide motivating feedback and training in areas that need improvement.
• Business Development:
• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Negotiate large format deals with customers.
• Management
• Mediate conflicts and facilitate a synergistic department.
• Identify and train new sales personnel.
• Monitor daily margins and counsel as needed.
• Compliance
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards and compliance with industry regulations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• 10 years of experience in petroleum sales at the jobber level.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 2 weeks per month.
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
• Experience in customer relationship management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to providing great customer service.
• Ability to lead a sales team.
