The primary duties of a Petroleum Service Technician are to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment (fuel dispensers), provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner and maintain excellent safety standards.

Responsibilities:
· Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher on calls to be performed
· Follow and abide by D&H United Fueling Solutions’ service call procedures
· Respond to after-hours emergency service requests for "site down" or other priority situations in an on-call rotation
· Meet response time parameters for repair types
· Maintain a company furnished vehicle and inventory of repair parts
· Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions
· Completing online and classroom training courses, including regular re-certifications
· Follow all customer protocols and procedures including customer’s safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at customer site
· Communicate with warehouse personnel to verify inventory and replenish what is needed on truck
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED (required)
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
· 1-year experience in petroleum related service, will provide training
· Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
· Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills and customer relations skills
· Basic computer skills
· Good work ethic
· Experience or Certification(s) in one or more of the following (preferred)
o Gilbarco Dispenser
o Wayne Dispenser
o Gasboy Fleet
o Passport
o Veeder Root
o Verifone
o Journeyman Electrician
Ability to:
· Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service
· To frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and work in a high traffic area
· Work flexible hours
· Work independently and as a member of a team
· Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)
· Ability to safely operate personal hand tools
· Ability to properly use a multi-meter
· Pass a drug test and background check
