Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to JCAHO standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Duties: - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up - Escort clients to appointments and outings - Document client care activities accurately and timely - Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor - Provide direct support and care according to the individualized care plan Requirements: - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required - Knowledge of caregiving systems and techniques - Understanding of ADLs (activities of daily living) and ability to assist with them - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for maintaining client privacy and confidentiality - Ability to provide compassionate patient care - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to lift and transfer clients safely using proper body mechanics - Proficient in taking vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, pulse) - High school diploma or equivalent Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
