Provides consultation and answers inquires from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to JCAHO standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Pharmacist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. What does a Home Care nurse do?
As a Home Care Nurse you will be providing cares such as g-tube feedings, system assessments, and mobility/therapeutic assistance to a 14 year blind child in the Grand Junction area. You will play a critical role in this families support system ensuring that this young individual are able to live life as normal as possible. You will provide teaching, education, and clinically support the family with maintaining their child in their home setting. This would be a Monday - Friday daytime hour opportunity for the right individual.
