Pharmacist - Home Care jobs in Harrisburg, PA
Pharmacist - Home Care compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and pharmaceutical supplies per physician's instructions for patients in a home care setting. Provides consultation and answers inquires from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to JCAHO standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Pharmacist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. You will hire caregivers remotely with docu-sign, in-person at our office and at their homes by driving to them if they can’t do either of the above two mentioned options.
You may use our company van to reduce impact on your car or use your own.
Areas include: Harrisburg, York, Lancaster Lebanon and beyond.
You will be on the road about 50% of the time but just to meet caregivers so they can do the applications on a laptop you bring to them.
