Pharmacist - Home Care jobs in Honolulu, HI
Pharmacist - Home Care compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and pharmaceutical supplies per physician's instructions for patients in a home care setting. Provides consultation and answers inquires from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to JCAHO standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Pharmacist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. What you will bring:
- Ability to assist our clients with meal preparation and feeding support, light household cleaning and chores, and other daily care required
- Skills to safely support bathing, grooming, dressing, and bathroom assistance needs
- Certified Nursing Assistant CNA training or one year caregiving experience preferred but not required – we will train you!
- Capacity to care and treat our clients with the highest standards of excellence!
