The Hospital Pharmacist will report directly to the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager. This person will feel supported by their Manager and the Director of Pharmacy, and will join a fantastic team of experienced pharmacists and techs. The ideal candidate will be licensed in the state of WA and have experience working with IV medications.
The Hospital Pharmacist will assume the responsibility for distributing a variety of IV and other medications to patients throughout the hospital. This involves supervision of other staff, including pharmacy techs and students. In addition, the position requires collaboration with physicians and nurses in regards to problem solving and patient care activities. The Hospital Pharmacist will also be expected to educate patients and other staff for best outcomes.
