Pharmacist Manager manages a group of pharmacists who, under the direction of a physician, compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a retail or healthcare facility environment. Oversees daily pharmacy operations. Being a Pharmacist Manager monitors and audits drug inventory, ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and reporting. Requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a Pharm.D. Additionally, Pharmacist Manager requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pharmacist Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Pharmacist Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The ideal candidate will have the following requirements for the Pharmacist role.- Active and clear Pharmacist license in Florida
- CPR OR BLS active certification (can be from Red Cross or AHA)
- Immunization certified – this is a must but only takes a week or two to obtain!

Summary:
The Pharmacist will accurately fill prescriptions for our customers. This position will consult and advise the customers on their medications, both prescription and non-prescription, in a manner that will provide for their total well-being. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations that pertain to the department.
Assignment details for the Pharmacist:- Must be able to float between locations. (Millage Reimbursement)
- Prepare prescriptions which include entering patient information (demographics, drug allergies and pharmaceutical history) and prescription orders into the computer for processing.
- Ensure compliance with all government programs and laws related to pharmacy which includes, but is not limited to, Medicaid, Medicare Part D, DMEPOS and HIPPA.
- Fill prescriptions for customers.
- Schedule: Shift in between 7am – 10pm
- FLOATER ONLY: Travel to locations to fill in for other pharmacists as needed.
