This will be a part time position, but may develop and expand over time. Pharmacy hours are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday. No weekends. You will have significant interaction with our patients in person, through the drive-thru and on the phone. You will also help process our daily wholesaler order as well as perform afternoon medication deliveries to patients' place of business and homes. You will help with our testing and vaccination efforts by helping organize patient appointments and intake forms.

Our technicians are involved in all aspects of the pharmacy care delivery model and operate with tremendous autonomy under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Assist pharmacists in medication preparation for outpatient services
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate with healthcare professionals
-Process and troubleshoot claims to third party payers
-Greet patients, answer phones, and handle patient inquiries from start to finish
- Provide excellent patient care by providing exceptional service
-Generate and submit daily pharmaceutical orders to a variety of wholesalers while keeping product sourcing algorithms in mind
-Assist pharmacist and management team with the development and implementation of new clinical initiatives.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy operations
- Ability to prioritize patient care in a busy environment
