CSI Pharmacy is hiring a Director of IT to join our dynamic team. CSI Pharmacy is a nationwide specialty pharmacy, founded by pharmacists and dedicated to providing services for patients with chronic and rare illnesses that require complex care. This role will be based out of the Dallas, TX area.
The Director of IT will play a critical role in developing and implementing technology strategies that align with our business objectives and enhance our operational efficiency. This individual will oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute IT strategies, policies, and procedures that support the organization's goals and objectives.
Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
Manage and optimize enterprise software applications, including pharmacy management systems, electronic health records (EHR), and other specialized healthcare software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs, prioritize projects, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to IT security, data privacy, and patient confidentiality.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending hardware, software, and infrastructure investments to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations, ensuring cost-effective solutions that maximize return on investment.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT team, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.
Consistently represents the company in a professional manner.
Maintain effective working relationships and cooperate with all personnel in the Company.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

In-depth knowledge of pharmacy management systems, EHR platforms, and other healthcare IT applications.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.
Experience with IT security, compliance, and risk management in a healthcare environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects, budgets, and resources, delivering results on time and within budget.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CPHIMS, or ITIL are a plus.
