Pharmacy Director directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for a hospital or healthcare facility's pharmacy services. Maintains contact with other department heads, medical staff, and nursing staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes, and promote effective drug therapy. Being a Pharmacy Director requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Typically requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Additionally, Pharmacy Director typically reports to a top management. The Pharmacy Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Pharmacy Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, Front Store, the Executive Director of FP&A for Front Store will lead and develop a team of finance colleagues to improve partnership with the business, drive higher quality analysis and provide more actionable insights to aid in strategic and operational decision making, better alignment of priorities, milestones and measurements across CVS retail, and overall speed of execution.

    You’ll make an impact by:
    • Driving and managing the Front Store annual budgeting, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc analysis and forecasting
    • Influence senior leader decision makers on strategic and operational business decisions through the development of well-researched, organized and clear financial analysis.
    • Work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment and build partnerships with key constituents across Merchandise, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Marketing and Strategy
    • Development of new metrics, financial analyses, insights and recommendations to support executive-level decision making
    • Continuously assessing opportunities for best-in-class process improvement
    • Lead, organize, develop and empower your team to perform at their best

    Pay Range
    The typical pay range for this role is:
    Minimum: 131,500
    Maximum: 297,250

    Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

    Required Qualifications
    The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following experience/knowledge/ability:

    • 15 years of related financial/FP&A/commercial finance experience
    • Retail/Merchandise Finance experience
    • 12 years of related financial/FP&A/commercial finance experience to include:
    • Developing financial metrics to facilitate achievement of strategic plan and operating budget
    • Translating financial results and metrics into clear, concise, actionable narratives that influence strategic planning, business decision-making and action
    • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Advanced Degree - Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics
    • CPA or CFA

    Education
    • Bachelor's Degree - Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics
