    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Vice President, Information Systems will be responsible to design and implement a sustainable   business solutions strategy and lead the delivery of IT services to support KCU’s strategic initiatives. This role will also be responsible for building collaborative business relationships with other senior managers and business units to understand and define business requirements, solution design, and drive delivery across multiple functions.

    Salary Range: $156,286 - $195,357 depending on experience

    Bonus Target: 15% potential incentive of base pay

    Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Oversees the IT operational systems and provides and drives a solutions strategy roadmap which integrates IT systems with business needs to optimize and grow various lines of business.  
    • Creates and maintains partnerships and alliances with business unit leaders to understand business needs and involve them in generating mutually beneficial business solutions. 
    • Monitors emerging technologies and changes within all areas of our industry to be able to identify appropriate changes and trends which could benefit KCU’s business units.  
    • Determines the scope of integration of various cross-functional initiatives and drives consensus among executive leaders to implement change and advise exploiting new technologies.  
    • Oversees the development of appropriate governance frameworks and mechanisms for the effective use of information and technology to create value and manage risk.  
    • Proactively manages and optimizes IT Business Services budgets to drive operational efficiency and quality.

    Required Qualifications and Education 

    Bachelor's Degree in IT or a business-related field, or equivalent education and experience, required.  Ten plus years of progressive leadership experience working with cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating, and influencing effectively across the organization.  Five plus years of experience in informational intensive industries or advanced enterprises.  Five plus years of strategy and or management consulting.

     

    SUPERVISORY STATUS 

    This position supervises others and is responsible for being results oriented, collaborative, delegate effectively, and embrace the organization’s core values, ensuring team effectiveness.

     

    Working conditions 

    This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required: 

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 75% of the time
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines
    • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs
    • Constantly positions self in work environment
    • The person in this position frequently communicates with peers, supervisors, vendors, and employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions
    • Must be able to detect objects at a distance
    • On occasion will move up to 20 pounds of office objects
    • Works in an indoor office environment but expected to attend meetings in buildings that require travel in outdoor weather conditions
