My client is looking for someone who will be responsible developing and managing a cutting-edge IT infrastructure to meet the demands of our high-performance team while also protecting against threats and attacks for both controlled unclassified and classified information systems, both on premise and in the cloud.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary IT point of contact and manage daily IT operations.
Serve as the Information System Security Manager.
Develop and maintain unclassified and classified networks and systems.
Manages Risk Management Framework (RMF) security packages in eMass to obtain system accreditation.
Develop new security controls to meet updated standards and business needs.
Develop and execute incident response plans as necessary.
Translate business needs into IT and information security program strategies and execute them accordingly.
Propose and maintain budgets for company-wide IT and information security resources.
Design, implement, and maintain corporate network infrastructure (cloud-based and on-prem) ensuring required compliance within corporate and industrial security frameworks.
Implement new systems and shepherd Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation.
Collaborate across various corporate departments to identify and address IT policy and system requirements and needs.
Manage existing vendors while also identifying new technologies and vendors to meet the company's IT and information security needs.
Work closely with our MSP to monitor corporate infrastructure health and requirements.
Qualifications:
At least 8 years of experience in IT system administration.
Prior experience obtaining accreditation of at least one classified system.
Must have Security and ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 certification requirements commensurate with position (company-paid).
Previous hands-on involvement in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-level IT systems and networks.
Expertise in networking and security configuration of firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
Expertise in server deployment and group policy management.
In-depth knowledge of security standards and frameworks, including NIST SP 800, FedRAMP, CMMC, and RMF, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence.
Expertise in Windows and Linux administration
Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications:
Hands on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, PowerShell, and related security tools (Defender, Intune, Sentinel, AIP, DLP, etc.).
Experience building application packages for Intune.
Technical certifications in Azure.
Experience with macOS administration.
Education/Credentials:
A degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
US Citizenship is required for consideration, as this job requires a US government security clearance.
Preferred - TS/SCI, Minimum - Secret
