ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is hiring to fill a Computer and Information Systems Manager position to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. In this position you must have demonstrated knowledge and experience leading an IT team including establishing and monitoring goals. This is a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous Computer and Information Systems Manager experience. LOCATION
MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. 100% On-site
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree in computer or information technology or related field, such as engineering technologies; or 12 years’ IT program manager experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as Computer and Information Systems Managers (IT program manager); plans, coordinates, and directs computer-related activities in an organization, determine IT goals and implements computer systems. Recent and relevant experience (within the last three years) with Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management 11g and MS SQL Server.
- Certification in one of the following: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Essbase 11 Certified Implementation Specialist, or Oracle Hyperion Planning 11 Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Current Active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain SECRET Clearance by start of task.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Computer and Information Systems Managers shall support the mission by providing program management support for contract administration. Performance shall include tasks such as:- Serves as the principal point of representation and liaison with the government on operational program matters for the PPBES MIS and financial applications.
- Provide overall management of the contract.
- Plan and direct the work of database administrators, computer system engineers/architects, software developer, and data architect.
- Provides leadership, ensures conformance with performance requirements, and assists in the overall direction of all project level activities and personnel.
- Participate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings in an advisory and information-providing role.
- Monitor emerging industry technologies to determine if new or upgraded software or hardware would benefit USSOCOM resourcing mission.
- Coordinate with USSOCOM Chief Information Officer/Communications (J6) Information Technology (IT) Directorate to
- Coordinate and conduct annual disaster recovery exercises with J6.
- Produce and deliver deliverables.
