Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Pharmacy Service Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Duties include but not limited to:
Assisting customers at the register
Answering phones
Answering customer questions
Assisting with pharmacy duties as needed
Ordering and stocking
Dust and straighten shelves
Cash reconciliation
End of day procedures
Basic upkeep of store
Ideal candidate will have customer service experience (health care background a plus), basic math skills, positive attitude, ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Pharmacy is open M-F 9-5. Hours are flexible. Great place to work. Please complete the retail cashier assessment.
