OSITION SUMMARY: T

his position requires a well-organized individual with strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and ability to work comfortably with both patients, as well as behind the screens. This position is responsible for the coordination of the financial aspects of patients’ medical care to include registration and registration prep. This position has the daily responsibility for registration coverage to ensure proper patient flow. Coordination with Clinical, Ancillary, HIM and Account/Finance will be required to ensure effective and efficient practices. The position may maintain and assess statistical reports and will make recommendation to the Revenue Cycle Director related to continuous process improvement and ongoing regulatory compliance. P

OSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• igh school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred. E
• xceptional customer service and communication skills are required with strong attention to detail and required. M
• ust be able to multitask and work cooperatively with difficult customers and multiple internal and external partners. R
• equires medical/hospital billing or registration experience, advanced computer skills including Word and Excel, preferably clinical or financial experience preferred. R
• elated certification is a plus
