Pharmacy Service Clerk is responsible for performing daily, routine tasks in the pharmacy such as answering the phone, responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Being a Pharmacy Service Clerk assists with stocking and inventory tasks. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Service Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The Pharmacy Service Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     As a Service Clerk you will be responsible in assisting the service department in all necessary duties. This role requires daily interaction with other employees as well as customers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Answer calls for service manager and assist customers as needed

    Open work orders for service manager and technicians

    Collect completed work orders from technicians, making sure they filled them out properly. Then file into business system as well as send off for warranty claims

    Assist in keeping technicians training updated

    Assist billing customers for completed service work

    Work with parts on needed items for the service department

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    Must be well versed in computers, excel, word, outlook, PDF work, etc.

    Excellent time management is critical, as well as being able to handle multiple tasks effectively and professionally at any given time.

    Excellent communication skills verbally and written, to communicate with producers, vendors, and dealership personnel.

    Ability to learn and navigate through company specific programs

    Active drivers license

    Required Education and Experience

    High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    2 years experience working with repair shop

    Physical Requirements

    Sitting for long periods of time

    Typing

    Ability to hear, speak clearly

    Working Conditions

    Office environment
