Pharmacy Service Clerk jobs in Lake Charles, LA

• To be organized and professional
• Customer Service
• Answer multiple phone lines and direct calls appropriately
• Check fax machine frequently and dispense accordingly
• Take care of referral sources and referrals (cpap and bipap, respiratory related)
• To deal with all private insurances and Medicare (and replacements) and all Medicaid plans (verify, request approvals and explain benefits to patients and referral sources)
• To have knowledge of DME intake as well as being in the respiratory department
• To care for patients from start to finish whether its recurring supply order or intial set up and updating patient information
• Scheduling patient appointments for initial set ups
• Following up with patients for recurring supply orders
• Handle billing questions
• Receive payments for accounts
• Maintain Inventory of supplies, and work quarterly inventories
• Working with respiratory therapist to ensure top customer service
• Fill in with DME when needed.
