Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Iowa River Landing Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician, Trainee. Under general supervision performs activities associated with drug distribution and control for outpatient and clinic patient dispensing. Provides functional supervision as required.

Schedule: 40 hours will be accomplished through a 2-week rotating schedule between the hours of 6:30am - 8:00pm on Mondays, 7:00am - 8:00 pm Tuesdays - Thursday and 7:00am - 6:00pm on Fridays and between 8:30am -12:30pm on Saturday.
