Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are looking to bring on a Pharmacy Technician (who must be licensed in California) for an MTM position. Must have an active Pharmacy Tech license in California. Speaking spanish is preferred but not a must.
Your job skills will dictate your pay structure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is for MTM (medication management therapy) Tech. You call patients and update their medication lists. It's a stress free job, awesome work environment and staff. You will earn bonuses. At the time I'm looking for either part time or full time.
Previous experience in MTM is not a requirement, but you must have good phone skills (know how to talk to patients and control a conversation).
