Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Medley Pharmacy is a family-oriented group of independent pharmacies looking for a Full Time Pharmacy Technician to work in our Owensville, MO location.
We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will process and fill prescriptions. You will assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision and in accordance with state and federal regulations, with technical functions in the pharmacy. Such functions may include measuring, counting, labeling, record keeping, and communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals. Ensures customer satisfaction by handling each customer in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner. We are looking for high energy technicians who are motivated, able to multitask and have excellent customer service skills.
