Pharmacy Technician Supervisor jobs in Fort Smith, AR

We are looking for a dependable and reliable Pharmacy Technician that is willing to go the extra mile.

Salary $25.00 per hour with performance based quarterly bonuses.

Pharmacy is open 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Must be available to work any shift hours from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm

Must be able to work weekends and be on call when necessary, overtime approved.

As a pharmacy technician you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must be able to take constructive criticism. Must be able to work in high stress environment. Must have excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers.

• Responsibilities
• Greet customers and answer questions
• Receive prescriptions and check their validity
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
• Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
• Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
• Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards

Skills

• Must have a valid Arkansas Pharmacy Tech license and 3 years variable experience as pharmacy technician
• Must have Computer RX software experience
• Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Reliable with a keen eye for detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
