Pharmacy Technician Supervisor oversees the work of a team of Pharmacy Technicians that assist Pharmacists with the dispensing of medical prescriptions. Monitors daily activities and manages work schedules to ensure that quality, production and customer service standards are maintained. Being a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor may hire, train, and evaluate new employees. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Custom Care Pharmacy is a locally owned compounding pharmacy serving Greensboro and the surrounding area since 2001. We are a forward-moving company committed to providing personalized practical solutions to meet individual patient needs. The company is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist in compounding medications under the supervision of the Pharmacist. Experience in compounding, retail, or hospital pharmacy is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, and 401(K) with matching. We are closed on Sundays, New Year's Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Schedule will consist of 40-hour work weeks between 9am and 7pm Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays 10am-3pm.The Pharmacy Technician's responsibilities include:
- processing, preparing, and compounding prescriptions for various dosage forms
- assisting medical professionals and patients both by phone and in person
- maintaining required documentation
- routine cleaning of the pharmacy and equipment
- assisting in inventory management and orderingRequirements:
- High School Diploma
- Basic computer and math skills
- Availability to work between 9am and 7pm Monday thru Friday and some Saturdays 10am to 3pm.- Solid work ethic

Preferred:
- 1 to 2 years pharmacy experience- National PTCB Certification
