Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare to our patients. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to our patients to ensure optimal patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications and over-the-counter products

- Prepare and package medications accurately and efficiently

- Perform inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Pay: (depending on the role and experience)

$15-$17/hour possible commission

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age, High School Diploma/GED
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
• Comfortable working effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Subject to background check/drug test
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software systems
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a pharmacy/healthcare environment
• Pharmacy Technician license or certification (not required but must be committed to registering with the NJ Board of Pharmacy and obtaining a pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) within a year of employment)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• TCGRX Machine Knowledge
• PioneerRx Knowledge
