Phlebotomist draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. May prick finger to draw blood. Being a Phlebotomist may conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Phlebotomist requires Certification by a nationally recognized body. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Phlebotomist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. As a mobile phlebotomist you will be traveling to nursing homes each day to draw specimens and shipping the specimens through fed ex/ups. A centrifuge is required with this position as we require you to process the specimens before dropping off. This job is 5 days a week traveling to nursing homes. You will visit 3-5 per day. You are an independent contractor and will be able to claim each job on an app that we use.
