Being a Phlebotomist may conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Phlebotomist requires Certification by a nationally recognized body. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Phlebotomist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Job Summary
Phlebotomist works under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist, takes direction from the Lab Office Supervisor for specimen collection and delivery of reports.
