SUMMARY: Performs venipuncture and processes patient specimens for analysis or other medical purposes. Must be able to work with the elderly to infants.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm *Rotating Saturdays as Needed*

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required. Possess Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited training institute.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: California State Phlebotomy Tech I certificate required. Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association certification required.
