The Laboratory Department is looking for a Phlebotomist for our Wesley Chapel location. Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. We are looking for great phlebotomy technique and good customer service skills. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Minimum 1 year experience required.

Keys to Success in this Role:

• Perform front office duties (copy insurance cards, print labels for specimens, collect monies from patients, etc)
• Perform back office duties (work internal billing charges, retrieve results, work error logs, etc)
• Maintain inventory
• Ability to utilize all computer systems
• Perform incidental duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Strong computer proficiency
• Strong team player
• Phlebotomy Certification required
• One year of related experience

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Normal physical ability; able to stand for long periods
• Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
