Works with creators, designers, writers, and/or editors to ensure content is selected and edited in a manner cohesive with the tone, content, and objective of the project. Being a Photo Editor - Web uses editing tools to process and retouch photos, coordinates the licensing of stock photography, and adheres to project budgets. Coordinates and adheres to a standard workflow including research, submission, content selection, editing, and publishing. Additionally, Photo Editor - Web typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Photo Editor - Web work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. A Technical Editor collects and edits material for technical publications in print and electronic media. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of technical editing experience and must be proficient in using Adobe Acrobat and MS Office software. Excellent communication skills (oral and written), strong attention to detail, and an ability to manage time and work on multiple projects is required. Arbortext Editor experience is a plus.
