Photo Finishing Technician jobs in Peoria, IL

The Finishing Technologist has responsibilities that include corporate expert on Leveling and Slitting for the company, Web Handling Best Practice development and deployment, solving problems with global systemic and plant specific focus and implementing new technologies.

The candidate must have both finishing and slitting experience with either Aluminum or Steel.

This is a full time (direct hire) opportunity with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Solve equipment and process problems for the company's Finishing processes.
• Drive resolution of chronic problems within area of expertise; Lead problem solving teams & organize support from other resources when necessary.
• Develop and deploy best practices for the different Finishing processes, assist in identifying improvement opportunities, and facilitate technology transfer.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience, with a minimum of 3 years in metal finishing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to navigate Rockwell PLCs for troubleshooting.
• The position requires the desire and ability to travel extensively (around 25-50%), with a portion of the travel being international.
• Strong leadership skills.
