    The Entry Level Finishing Technician is responsible for post printing cleanup and finishing of advanced prototyping parts.

    Primary Job Functions

    • Basic cleanup and standard level or level 1 finish of parts
    • Ensure work area is kept clean and orderly

    Education and Training

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Experience

    No prior experience required. 

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience working with hand tools such as cutters, files, scrapers, and sandpaper and power tools such as foredom, dremel and palm sanders.
    • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds frequently
    • Attention to detail

    Working Environment / Physical Demands

    • This position requires the ability to stand, stoop, and bend for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
    • This position requires the manual dexterity sufficient to operate common manufacturing               machinery and hand tools.   
    • Must speak clearly using the English language to accurately convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels.  
    • Must be able to visually read the work instructions, gages, and monitors required to complete daily tasks.
    • Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds.

    Saftey Requirements

    • Required to observe all safety standards and rules.   
    • Required to report all injuries to his/her supervisor and Human Resources within 24 hours.  
    • Personal protection equipment must be worn as required by the job.
