Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Signing Bonus: New hire craft employee will be eligible for a $1,000 signing bonus after 30 days of employment (minimum of 173 hours worked). New hire craft employee will receive an additional $1,000 signing bonus after 3 months of employment (minimum of 500 hours worked). New hire craft employee will receive an additional $1,000 signing bonus after 6 months of employment (minimum of 1,000 hours worked). All signing bonuses are taxed.

    Position Description:

    Equipment operators are responsible for the operation and maintenance of all types of construction machinery including, but not limited to, rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, rubber tire backhoes, trucks, compaction equipment, all terrain forklift, and winter weather thawing equipment.

    Position Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Valid Driver’s License.
    • Follow safe work practices in accordance with the Hensel Phelps safety and health program.
    • Experience with a wide variety of construction machinery.
    • Knowledge of maintenance of various construction equipment.
    • Must be able to take initiative and ask questions.
    • Possess a keen attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.
    • Workers must provide their own safety footwear.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and stakeholders.
    • Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
    • Must be reliable and punctual. This includes having reliable transportation and consistent work attendance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experienced in construction layout, blueprint reading and shop drawing reading.
    • OSHA 10 Certification.
    • CPR & First Aid Certification.

    Essential Duties:

    • Perform maintenance work on equipment such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
    • Promotes a safe work environment and communicates jobsite hazards.
    • Operate all types of construction machinery including, but not limited to, rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, rubber tire backhoes, trucks, compaction equipment, all terrain forklift, and winter weather thawing equipment.
    • Perform backfill procedures and other earthwork.
    • Inspects and documents their heavy equipment.
    • Promote a safe work environment and communicate jobsite hazards.
