Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Requirements:
- Verifiable work experience
- Responsible attitude for personal safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors, and the public.
- Self starter and ability to self- direct work.
- Knowledge of chemical and mechanical processes. Understanding of temperature, pressure, and flow concepts for liquids and gases.
- Knowledge of chemical plant processes and filtration.
- Good troubleshooting skills for chemical plant processes and equipment.
- Team oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision.
