Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Turning valves and adjusting controls to ensure the safe operation of the equipment. Observing sterilizers and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and assisting with repairs as needed.
Documenting and recording process readings. Reports any damaged product to the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor. Reports system problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician.
