Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to utilize related equipment to assemble apparel, meeting expected quality standards. Must comprehend and understand product specifications, and an understanding of assembly requirements. Duties will include ability to understand stitch formation and pattern fit for proper construction. Operator will understand how thread, findings and trim is applied in the operation to meet specifications. A basic understanding of equipment to properly maintain (oil, cleaning, etc.).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another.
Moderate Carrying: Items weighing 15 to 44 pounds.
Hand Usage: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm.
Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with fingers (including thumb) and palm.
Light Lifting: Raising objects under 15 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from one position to another.
Moderate Lifting: Objects 15 to 44 pounds.

Visual Requirements: Enough to read computer screen and job cards (examples: Able to see and read PC screens, detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print).
