Photocopy Operator jobs in New Orleans, LA
Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
- Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
- Ensure individual and crew work safety.
- Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
- Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
- Maintain the required safety training.
- Complete necessary documentation, reports, and logs accurately and timely

Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.
At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at / near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $18-$26.
SLB offers competitive compensation and benefits programs which include variable pay, health care coverage, retirement plan, protection coverage, time off and leave programs, and training and development opportunities.
This is not an offshore only position; candidates will have to work in the base when not offshore.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum high school dipolma.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a skilled operator in open hole and cased hole.
- Wireline experience required.
- Diesel mechanics and electronics experience a plus.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the United States without visa sponorship.
