Job Summary
As part of the Housing Information & Marketing team, responsible for conceiving, creating, and producing promotional, educational, and informational photo and video products that support the operations and activities of University Housing. These promotional communications help University Housing achieve and maintain full occupancy in residence halls and apartments as well as contribute to increasing meal plan sales. Support the operations and activities of University Housing, as well as enrich its visual identity. Showcase the broad scope of University Housing including dining halls, boutique restaurants, graduate student and family housing, undergraduate housing, facilities, human resources, student groups, events, and more. All University Housing staff will engage and contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within University Housing.Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in film/video production, cinematography, radio and television, documentary film production, photojournalism, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a closely related field to the position. One (1) year of professional work experience in areas including video production, marketing, communications, public relations, non-linear video editing, motion graphics, video lighting, composition, camera operation, photography, graphic design, audio recording, or a closely related professional area.

This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5014 - Cinematographer/Creative Video Producer position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 3/27/2023. the salary for this positions starts at $45,000 and salary is commensurate with experience. This position may request a hybrid home/office working environment.
