    We are currently looking for people to work with us during graduation seasons each year while our company photographs graduates at graduation events and ceremonies in your area. We’re looking for dependable people who have an energetic work style and who can communicate cordially with large groups of graduates and their families. Photography experience is a plus, but not required; we’re willing to train the right candidates to use our equipment to take quality portraits during ceremonies and events.

    This is a part-time, seasonal opportunity. There are two main graduation seasons each year: Spring Graduation season (April – June) and Winter Graduation season (November - December). We’re looking for people who have open or very flexible schedules during these months in order to work graduation events in their areas during our busiest parts of the year.

    Candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview depending on their location and when they’re hired. If hired, candidates will work with us on location and be trained on site to take photographs. During a Trainee Photographers first year working with us, until we can get them fully trained to be responsible for covering poses, Trainee Photographers may also work as team assistants as an additional part of the training process.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Candidates must be able to dress professionally with consideration for neatness and cleanliness. A dark business suit is required to work with us as a trainee photographer.
    • Candidates must have open or flexible schedules in order to work graduation events and ceremonies during our busiest seasons (see busy months above)
    • Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to and from events in their areas. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
    • Candidates must be dependable. We expect our employees to have proper time management skills and to work event schedules that they agree to in advance. This includes having the ability to be on-time and adhere to a schedule.
    • Graduations are formal events and because of this our dress code is strict. Our photographers have to own and be able to wear a dark business suit to any events they work with us (dark dress pants, matching jacket/blazer, dress shirt and dress shoes, neutral colored mask (men have to wear a tie). A DARK BUSINESS SUIT IS REQUIRED.

    The pay for our incoming Trainee Photographers is $70 - $80 per graduation ceremony and ceremonies usually last around 4 hours ( /-). That equals to $17.50 - $20.00/ hour. For stellar employees who are able to train quickly, have good image reviews, are dependable, always on time (early), always dressed appropriately, and have great attitudes with the teams and our clients; Raises are given based on performance, attitude, availability and reliability. Our company also reimburses our photographers for their travel mileage to and from any events they work @ $.62 / mile, candidates must have reliable, personal transportation. Starting pay is determined by location and experience.

    Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    During training and when necessary, working as a team assistant helping graduates and photographers get quality photos during graduation events and ceremonies

    • Assisting graduates with completing contact information cards
    • Assisting graduates with getting ready and robed for portraits
    • Assisting during ceremonies by tracking graduate names or collecting cards in sequence
    • Setting up camera equipment and other equipment prior to the event according to event specs
    • Using company equipment (Nikon) to take good quality portraits of graduates, at a fast pace during graduation events and ceremonies.
    • Using company equipment (Nikon) to take candid family and friends' photos when applicable
    • Working with team captains and assistants to ensure photography during graduation events runs as smoothly as possible while providing excellent customer service to clients, graduates and their families.
    • Photographers are not required to do any post production editing or selling
