Job Title: Biospecimen Logistics Associate / Pharma Industry
Duration: 19 months contract, extendable up to 36 months

Job Description:
Responsible for providing logistical support for biospecimen lifecycle management from receipt to destruction.
Primary Duties:
Support the receipt, login, and management of clinical and research biospecimens, and troubleshoot errors in the submission process.
Support the destruction of biospecimens, including communication and documentation.
Support the maintenance of freezers/fridges and the supplies within, including routine thawing of freezers and organization of content.
Demonstrate good documentation practices and attention to detail related to the above
Demonstrate good oral and interpersonal communication with cross-functional partners and laboratory colleagues.
Follow established Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain flexibility and be able to adjust to changing priorities.
Work independently and in a team environment in multiple settings including office and open space.
Training, Education and Experience Preferred:
B.S degree preferably in the biological sciences, with 1-2 years of experience in a field with similar responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, think critically, prioritize tasks, have good organization skills.
Knowledge and proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point
Exceptional attention to detail, verbal/written communication, and organizational/task management skills.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday. 8am -4pm or 9am - 5pm
