Being a Photographic Processing Machine Operator/Tender develops and prints color, and black and white film. May be expected to maintain chemical balances in processing equipment. Additionally, Photographic Processing Machine Operator/Tender may require an associate's degree with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. SUMMARY: Apply Knowledge of materials and engineering theory and methods to design, integrate and improve manufacturing systems or related processes. Create CNC Programs and supply them to the Departments within the Shop.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Direct company managers and develop, review and improve manufacturing processes.
· Identify issues causing efficiency or quality loss. Assign engineers to implement improvements.
· Create job methods utilizing engineering expertise.
· Create detail prints of fixtures and tooling.
· Provide operator training when introducing new processes.
· Conduct tests and or review feedback from operators when new fixtures or tooling are implemented to determine means of improving production.
· Provide assistance in maintaining fixtures, tooling and other equipment.
· Propose and implement cost reduction programs.
· Establish and maintain production floor layout to improve efficiency of operations.
· Author Work Instructions pertaining to production processes.
· Fulfill customer engineering or suppliers engineering requests as needed.
· Completes quality system requirements as they pertain to specific job functions.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 5-10 Years quality assurance management experience in contract manufacturing.
· BS Degree or equivalent in related field of study, or four to ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· In depth knowledge of ISO9001 / ISO13485 QMS requirements.
· Experience with precision, low to mid volume machining and assembly equipment, tooling, fixturing and gauging.
· Experience with PFMEA, CAPA and GD&T.
· The ability to use Mastercam to program CNC equipment.
· Computer skills required: E2 MRP Systems; Gagetrak Software; Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software; Ability to write and send E-mails to peers, reports, customers, and suppliers as needed
· Educated in ISO manufacturing requirements
· Educated in FDA manufacturing requirements
