Ag Processing, Inc. (AGP) is seeking an energetic Sanitation Worker to join our team in St. Joseph, MO! Come work for a company that promotes personal and professional success for all our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition. AGP’s St. Joe location is a union facility. The Sanitation Worker is an entry level position that will lead to better opportunities as they open, based on seniority. The shift is typically Monday through Friday 7AM to 3PM but does have some overtime available on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of basic building equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Skill in using various cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaner and various cleaning chemicals.
• Skill in operating a forklift, pallet jack and material handling equipment.
• Skill in written and oral communications.
• Ability to organize work and perform tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively function as a team player.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
