Physical Therapist - Home Care jobs in Pittsburgh, PA

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the evaluation of the needs of the patient, planning and coordinating the patient’s care, and developing and following the physician’s Plan of Care. The PT provides services to the home health patient with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary impairments, fine motor, sensory motor, and developmental delays, traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders. The PT is responsible for directing, supervising, evaluating and providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes as prescribed by the attending physician.

Ability to:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, clinical judgement, critical thinking, problem solving, organization and planning skills
• Follow County, State and Federal regulations
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients and families, other agencies and the public
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Maintain and promote a positive attitude
