Job Title: Physical Therapist 

Job Type: Part-time (15-20 hours per week; Tue and Thurs afternoons, and Fri all day, with the opportunity to work extra hours for coverage. Will discuss schedule during interview.)

Job Location: 2 Victory Court, Newburgh, NY (Orange County; outpatient clinic)

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist responsibilities include ...

• Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses.
• Devising creative treatment plans for individuals suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
• Providing excellent 1:1 care, spending up to 40 minutes with each patient.
• Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
• Medical specialties at the clinic include ortho, sports medicine, and neuro.
• Adolescents, Adults, and geriatric outpatient caseload.

Qualifications

• NYS Physical Therapist License
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Must have at least one year of recent experience working in an orthopedic outpatient clinic as a licensed therapist

Salary Description

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
