Physical Therapy Attendant assists in the treatment of patients under the direction of physical therapists. Supports physical therapy care by preparing treatment areas, equipments, and materials. Being a Physical Therapy Attendant may be responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment. Prepares and sanitizes treatment rooms for the patients. Additionally, Physical Therapy Attendant helps maintain the treatment records of the patient. May perform various clerical duties such as greeting patients and scheduling appointments. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Physical Therapy Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapy Aide to join the team at our Hoboken clinic in NJ.
Therapy Technicians are responsible for supporting patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Therapy Technicians are expected to execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service. Spear strives to foster a true community environment for both patients and team members; therefore, a collaborative spirit is valued to ensure everyone receives the care and support they need.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
- A strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.
- Athletic experience a plus!
