Physical Therapy Director directs and coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of physical therapy programs to patients. Evaluates current physical therapy programs and investigates potential new or revised therapy programs to improve the quality of patient care. Being a Physical Therapy Director oversees budgeting, staffing, and the development and implementation of new physical therapy programs. Ensures the physical therapy division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Additionally, Physical Therapy Director typically requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Physical Therapy Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Physical Therapy Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     Preferred candidates will have the following:

    • Outpatient orthopedic experience a plus OR strong interest in outpatient ortho
    • New grads encouraged to apply!
    • Licensed PTA or eligible for PTA licensure in Indiana
    • Excellent communication skills

    Indiana Physical Therapy operates 21 outpatient orthopedic clinics in Indiana, including seven in Fort Wayne and one each in Angola, Auburn, Bluffton, Camby, Columbia City, Decatur, Elkhart, Goshen, Huntington, Indianapolis, Kendallville, Mishawaka, New Haven and Warsaw.

    Our Industrial Services and Athletic Training divisions also provide therapy and service options.

    Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
